The Artisan Barn Café opened its doors for the first time on May 23rd, 2009. We had a wonderful day with close to 50 patrons visiting us. Since that opening weekend we've had a steady stream of patrons - both seasonal and year-round. Local folks have begun to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and a comfortable place to chat, catch-up, or enjoy a card game or two. Our seasonal visitors have enjoyed not only the local treats but also the free wi-fi access so they can stay connected to the world they "left behind!" Whether you're a local or a visitor, if you need a good book for the "lovely" weather we've been having ... the Café is a registered member of BookCrossing.com and has several books ready to be "released!" Next time you're in the area, stop by the Artisan Barn to browse the handiwork from many of our local artisans and grab a cup of coffee at the Café! |
